The police in Saqba have arrested a number of currency counterfeiters.

According to what the Syrian Ministry of Interior published on its Telegram channel today, Sunday, the police in Saqba managed to arrest a group of individuals involved in counterfeiting currencies.

The Ministry of Interior stated: "The police department in the Saqba district of Damascus countryside arrested a cell engaged in counterfeiting currency and circulating it in the markets, seizing quantities of counterfeit currency and drugs in their possession."

This operation is part of the intensive security operations carried out by the Syrian Ministry of Interior to control violations committed by some individuals taking advantage of the turbulent situation Syria has been experiencing recently.
