Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov informed his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, in a phone call today, Saturday, that Moscow condemns Israel's use of force against Iran and affirmed its readiness to help calm the situation in the Middle East. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a press release that Moscow is prepared to continue working on resolving issues related to the Iranian nuclear program. Iran and Israel exchanged missile launches and airstrikes on Saturday, following Israel's massive aerial attack on its archenemy, resulting in the killing of military leaders and scientists and the bombing of nuclear sites in a declared attempt to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
