Russian Foreign Minister Delivers Message from Putin to Kim Jong Un
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov today, Saturday, delivered a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his visit to Pyongyang.

Lavrov, during his meeting with Kim Jong Un, said, "Russian President Vladimir Putin sends his warmest greetings to you and reaffirms his commitment to all agreements reached," according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

Lavrov added, "President Putin looks forward to continuing direct communication with you in the near future."

The Russian Foreign Minister also praised the military alliance between his country and North Korea during a visit aimed at reaffirming the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Lavrov stated, "Our North Korean friends have once again confirmed their strong support for all the objectives of the special military operation and the measures of the Russian leadership and the Russian army."

In turn, Kim Jong Un described Lavrov's visit as "a significant turning point in the cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang."

Kim, during his meeting with Lavrov, said, "Your visit represents an extremely important milestone in elevating our distinguished and strong relations as allies to a new level, and it signifies a moment of great importance in developing our cooperation in various fields."

It is worth mentioning that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Wonsan, North Korea, on Friday to hold talks with his North Korean counterpart, Ri Son Gwon, as part of the second round of strategic dialogue between the foreign ministers of the two countries.
