The Russian Foreign Ministry today urged Russian citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran or Israel and asked those "in conflict areas" to stay away from military targets and crowded public places. Israel launched several attacks on Iran on Friday, claiming to have targeted nuclear facilities, missile factories, and killed a large group of military leaders in an operation that could be long-term to prevent Tehran from manufacturing nuclear weapons. Russia earlier today on Friday stated that the Israeli strikes are unjustified and violate the United Nations Charter, accusing Israel of undermining diplomatic efforts to reach an agreement to ease Western concerns about Tehran's nuclear program.
