Russia: Military Solution Ineffective with Iranian Nuclear Program Issue

The Kremlin issued a statement today, Thursday, stating that there will be no military solution to issues related to the Iranian nuclear program.
The Kremlin mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping condemned, during a phone call, the attacks carried out by Israel on Iran and agreed on the need to de-escalate.
Yuri Ushakov, Kremlin advisor, told journalists that the two leaders strongly condemned "Israeli actions that violate the UN Charter and other norms of international law".
He said there is an agreement that Israeli and Western concerns about Iran's nuclear program cannot be resolved militarily and the need for a diplomatic solution.
Ushakov mentioned that Xi informed Putin that he supports Russia's efforts to mediate with Iran because he believes it could help reduce the escalation of the situation.
