Riyadh rejects Israeli Knesset's demand to take control of the West Bank

Saudi Arabia, along with Gulf and Islamic organizations, expressed their condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms, demanding that the Israeli Knesset take control of the occupied West Bank and Palestinian territories, describing it as a "blatant violation of international laws and United Nations resolutions".
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that such provocative actions by the Israeli occupation authorities undermine peace efforts through the "two-state solution", and reaffirm their determination for sabotage and destruction.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its complete rejection of the Israeli occupation authorities' violations against the Palestinian people and their rights, including the right to self-determination, calling on the international community to take serious steps to enforce UN resolutions supporting the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to live in dignity on their land within their independent state based on the 1967 borders, with its capital in Jerusalem.
On the other hand, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in a statement, noted that the occupation government continues to provoke the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as all peace-loving and just peoples of the world, showing contempt for all laws and norms, deliberately undermining all efforts to stop war and bring about peace.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Organization, President of the Muslim World League, condemned the occupation government's policy of disregarding the lives, dignity, and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, violating all international humanitarian values, laws, and norms in Palestinian territories, affirming that this extremist government has become a major obstacle to achieving a just and comprehensive peace, and the stability sought by all in the region.
