The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed, through an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its strong condemnation and deep disapproval of the continued Israeli violations of Syrian territory and the repeated interference in its internal affairs, affirming that these practices constitute a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic, international law, and the agreement concluded in 1974 to disengage between Syria and Israel.

The statement came amid rising security tensions in the Sweida Governorate in southern Syria, where the Saudi Foreign Ministry emphasized the Kingdom's full support for all measures taken by the Syrian government aimed at achieving security and stability, maintaining civil peace, and enhancing the sovereignty of the state and its institutions over all Syrian territory.

The Kingdom firmly rejected any separatist calls or divisive projects targeting the unity of Syria, urging all components of the Syrian people to prioritize wisdom and national interest, and engage in constructive dialogue that enhances unity and contributes to the completion of building the Syrian state on solid and stable foundations.

The Kingdom also renewed its call for the international community to assume its responsibilities, stand by the sisterly Syria, and support it in maintaining its unity, consolidating its security and stability, while emphasizing the necessity of taking a firm and serious international stance to stop the ongoing Israeli violations within Syrian territory.

These positions come within the framework of the Kingdom's policy supporting the sovereignty of Arab states and its rejection of any external interference that threatens its security and stability.
