Reuters from sources: Military leaders in NATO are expected to meet on Wednesday to discuss the situation in Ukraine

Reuters reported from an American official and another from NATO today, Tuesday, that military leaders in the alliance are expected to meet on Wednesday to discuss the situation in Ukraine.

According to the American official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Keen is expected to join the meeting online, but plans may change.

The Chairman of the NATO Military Committee also held a meeting, described as a "regular meeting at the level of defense leaders".

According to another official in the alliance, NATO's senior military commander Alexus Grinkwitch will brief defense leaders on the results of the Alaska meeting that took place between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin last week.
