The Jordanian Civil Aviation Authority announced today, Sunday, the reopening of Jordan's airspace after assessing the risks.
The President of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority, Haitham Misto, stated in a press release that "Jordanian airspace has been reopened for air traffic following a comprehensive assessment of security risks in the region."
Jordanian authorities had previously decided to close the airspace as a precautionary measure amidst regional tensions.
