Qatar welcomed today, Wednesday, the announcement of the Syrian government regarding a ceasefire in Sweida city, affirming its full support for all measures taken to maintain security and stability.

In a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it stated: "Qatar welcomes the announcement of the government in the sisterly Arab Republic of Syria regarding a ceasefire in Sweida city and affirms its full support for all measures taken to maintain security and stability".
