Qatar renews its support for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Syria.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, renewed Qatar's full support for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Syria, as well as the aspirations of its brotherly people for security and stability.

According to the Qatari News Agency (QNA), the Qatari Prime Minister met with the head of the Syrian Transitional Government, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, on Friday, April 11, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in the Republic of Turkey.

During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation between the two countries, ways to support and enhance it, the latest developments in Syria, Qatar's support for Syria in the energy sector, in addition to several other topics of mutual interest.
