Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his appreciation for the steadfast positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and for the constructive efforts of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in achieving peace, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA".

In a phone call between Putin and the Saudi Crown Prince, the Russian president informed Prince Mohammed bin Salman about the results of his recent talks with U.S. President Donald Trump.
For his part, the Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom's ongoing support for the diplomatic dialogue as a fundamental means to resolve international disputes.

The two sides also discussed during the call the existing areas of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Russia in several sectors, and opportunities to enhance them in a way that serves the interests of both countries and strengthens regional and international stability.
