Kazakh President Begins Official Visit to Turkey

The Kazakh President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, begins an official visit to the Turkish capital Ankara today, Monday, in response to an invitation from his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
This was announced in a statement by the head of the Turkish Presidency's Communications Department, Fahrettin Altun.
Altun explained that Tokayev's visit to Turkey will last for two days, during which he will participate with Erdoğan in the fifth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries.
During the discussions to be held at the presidential complex, the progress of the "enhanced strategic partnership" between the two countries will be evaluated, steps to deepen it will be discussed, and views will be exchanged on current international and regional issues.
It is expected that several documents and agreements will be signed to enhance the relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan.
