An aircraft belonging to "Air India" crashed at Ahmedabad Airport, leading to a temporary suspension of air traffic.

Indian Airlines announced the crash of one of its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft today at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, while preparing for its flight to London Gatwick.
N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of the company, stated: "With great sadness, I confirm that Air India flight number AI171, bound from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, was involved in a tragic accident today."
According to data from FlightRadar24, the plane was scheduled to take off from Terminal 2 at the airport on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson for Ahmedabad International Airport reported that "air traffic has been temporarily suspended, and all flights have been temporarily grounded after the accident."
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the accident, with efforts intensified to resume airport operations as soon as possible.
