The Palestinian Prime Minister Visits Cairo and the Rafah Crossing to Discuss Support for Gaza

The Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa will begin an official visit to Egypt tomorrow, Sunday, during which he will meet with several senior officials and conduct a field tour at the Rafah land crossing from the Egyptian side.
The Palestinian news agency reported that Mustafa will meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty to discuss the deteriorating humanitarian and medical conditions in the Gaza Strip, in addition to Cairo's ongoing efforts to reach a ceasefire and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid.
The two sides are scheduled to hold a joint press conference in front of the Rafah crossing next Monday, following a review of the crossing area and the warehouses for storing relief supplies directed to the sector, as well as a visit to the field hospital established in the area.
Cairo repeatedly confirms that the Rafah crossing is open from its side around the clock, while Israeli forces continue to close it from the other side, causing thousands of trucks loaded with aid to pile up.
