Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, expressed his country's deep concern over the repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territories, affirming that they are a violation of international law.
According to Pakistan's Permanent Mission to the United Nations on the "Ex" platform, Ahmad stated in a statement delivered during a session of the Security Council yesterday, Monday, that the recent Israeli airstrikes on Daraa, Al-Suwayda, and Damascus constitute a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Ahmad also emphasized that these actions undermine regional stability and hinder Syria's recovery, stressing the need to fully respect the relevant Security Council resolutions and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement in the Syrian Golan Heights.
