Pakistani Defense Minister: Military incursion from neighboring India is imminent.

As reported by Reuters in an interview, Asif said, "We have bolstered our forces because it is now imminent. Therefore, in this situation, some strategic decisions must be made, and these decisions have already been taken."
Asif added that the Indian rhetoric has intensified, and the Pakistani army informed the government of the possibility of an Indian attack, without delving into further details on why he believes the incursion is imminent.
Meanwhile, India has identified two suspected militants as Pakistanis. Islamabad denied any involvement in the attack and called for a neutral investigation.
Asif confirmed that Pakistan is on high alert and will only use its nuclear arsenal if "there is a direct threat to our existence."
The armed attack resulted in the death of 26 people and sparked anger in Hindu-majority India, along with calls to take action against Muslim-majority Pakistan.
India accuses Pakistan of supporting militants in Kashmir, a region claimed by both countries and where they have fought two wars over.
