Oman hosts high-level Iranian-American negotiations.

Today, Saturday, April 12, marks the start of high-level secret talks between Iran and the United States in the Omani capital, Muscat, in an attempt to restart negotiations on the Iranian nuclear file, which is witnessing rapid developments.
This meeting comes at a cautious time, with U.S. President Donald Trump warning of the possibility of resorting to a military option if diplomatic efforts fail to contain the Iranian nuclear program.
Iranian media confirmed the arrival of delegations from both countries in Muscat, with the Iranian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, while the U.S. side is represented by President Trump's envoy to the Middle East, Steve Whitekov, in a new round of talks sponsored by Oman.
