Israeli occupation forces launched new incursions this morning, Monday, August 25, in the areas of the countryside of Damascus and the countryside of Quneitra, in a clear military escalation on the Syrian-Israeli border.
In the countryside of Damascus, a military force consisting of 11 vehicles and more than 60 personnel stormed the village of Beit Jinn, managing to control the hill "Bat al-Warda" located at the foothills of Mount Sheikh, which is a strategic site overlooking the surrounding areas.
In the countryside of Quneitra, the occupation forces also carried out new incursions, entering the area of Tal Ahmar Sharqi, in addition to the town of Manshiyat Suwaisa and the village of Ain al-Abd.
These forces conducted extensive searches of homes and properties in those areas, raising concerns among local residents and increasing tensions along the contact line.
These movements come amid a continued state of tension along the border between Syria and Israel, with fears of a broader military escalation that could affect stability in the region.
