Princess Iman, daughter of the Jordanian monarch, and her husband Jamil Alexandre Thermos, welcomed their first child today, Sunday, 16/02/2025.
In a post shared by Queen Rania on her Instagram page, she wrote: "Iman, the jewel of the palace, has become a mother... Thank God for blessing our home and our joy with our precious Amina, who is more valuable than the world. Congratulations Jamil and Iman, and thank God for your safety, my dear."
The Jordanian Royal Court issued a statement saying: "The Hashemite Royal Court is pleased to announce that Her Royal Highness Princess Iman, daughter of King Abdullah II, and Mr. Jamil Alexandre Thermos, welcomed today, on the seventeenth of Sha'ban 1446 AH, corresponding to the sixteenth of February 2025 AD, at Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II Hospital in Aqaba, a daughter named Amina, may God make her the apple of her parents' eyes."
The statement added: "The Hashemite Royal Court extends its sincerest congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Iman and Mr. Jamil Thermos on the birth of their noble daughter, and congratulates Their Majesties King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, may God protect them, on their granddaughter, praying that God Almighty will protect her and bless her with His care in the embrace of her parents and the Hashemite family, under the guardianship of the Dean of the House of Hashem."
