"New Air Defense Deal.. Norway Funds Ukraine and Patriot Systems on the Way"

The Norwegian government announced the allocation of approximately 7 billion kroner (over 695 million US dollars) to finance the supply of advanced air defense systems to Ukraine, as part of an agreement made with Germany.
An official statement indicated that the deal includes the purchase of two Patriot missile systems with a full set of munitions, in addition to German TRML-4D radars produced by Hensoldt, as well as short-range air defense systems Typhon 2 manufactured by Kongsberg.
Germany is the second largest arms supplier to Ukraine after the United States, with military aid exceeding 40 billion euros since the outbreak of the war.
In return, Russia renewed its rejection of supplying Ukraine with Western weapons, considering that these steps hinder settlement efforts and prolong the conflict, while the Kremlin described the supply of arms to Kyiv as direct involvement by NATO countries in the war.
