Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Keir Starmer rewarded "the terrorism (of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas) and punished its victims", in response to Britain's plans to recognize a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu added: "The existence of a militant state on Israel's borders today will threaten Britain tomorrow".
