In an escalating confrontation between Iran and Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked US President Donald Trump for his strong support in the war Israel is waging against Iran.
Netanyahu stated in a televised address that Israeli missiles are hitting Iran "with immense force" despite Israel suffering painful losses, noting that Israel is targeting Iran's nuclear program, its military facilities, and symbols of its power.
Netanyahu said, "We are hitting the Ayatollah regime with immense force," adding that "the home front is strong, the people are strong, and the state of Israel is stronger than ever."
Since the escalation began, 24 people have been killed in Israel and hundreds have been injured by Iranian missiles, while Iran reports the deaths of 224 people in its Israeli attacks, including military leaders and nuclear scientists.
Although the Israeli army has not announced the casualty toll, it confirmed the downing of an Iranian drone, while Israeli media are under strict control regarding reports of Iranian airstrikes.
On the other hand, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard states that "the sky over the occupied territories is open to their missiles," as the exchange of attacks continues.
Amid this escalating crisis, attention remains focused on the decisions of the American and Israeli leadership, amid warnings of the risks of expanding the confrontation between the two countries.
