The Israeli newspaper "Israel Hayom" revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump have reached a preliminary agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip within two weeks, but this agreement is conditional on several crucial terms.
The conditions include releasing all fifty hostages held in Gaza, and expelling Hamas leaders from the territory outside Palestinian lands.
The agreement also stipulates the administration of the Gaza Strip by four Arab countries, including Egypt and the UAE, to replace Hamas in governance.
The agreement also includes accommodating Gaza citizens wishing to migrate, expanding peace agreements to include more Arab and Islamic countries, with Israel willing to recognize limited sovereignty in the West Bank.
However, the release of hostages remains the biggest challenge to finalizing the agreement.
This development comes amid escalating tensions with Iran, where Netanyahu showed greater flexibility compared to his previous positions, yet Hamas has not responded to the offer so far.
Furthermore, there is broad European consensus on the need to reform the Palestinian Authority as a condition for establishing a Palestinian state, within the framework of a two-state solution.
