Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, emphasized that the UAE has a clear development agenda, outlined by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country's president.

Bin Rashid stressed that "Our message from the UAE is that development is the key to stability... and the economy is policy".

Speaking via the 'X' platform, Bin Rashid added: "In an international vote of confidence in the UAE's economy... and according to the report issued by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the country's foreign direct investment inflows reached 167 billion dirhams (45 billion dollars) at the end of the last year, growing by 48% from the previous year".

He further stated: "The UAE captured 37% of the total foreign direct investment inflows in the region... (Out of every 100 dollars of foreign investments in the region, 37 dollars go to the UAE). The UAE also ranked second globally in the number of new foreign direct investment projects after the United States".

He concluded: "Our new goal is to attract direct foreign investment inflows amounting to 1.3 trillion dirhams over the next six years, with the help of Allah. We have a clear development agenda outlined by Mohammed bin Zayed... and we have a dedicated team following its instructions... and we have a people rallying around its leadership... this is our secret to success".
