Ministry of Interior: A large quantity of Captagon was seized in Daraa and a drug trafficking network was dismantled in Aleppo

The Anti-Narcotics Branch was able, today Friday, to seize a large quantity of Captagon pills in Daraa Governorate and dismantle a drug trafficking network in Aleppo Governorate.

The Ministry of Interior stated via Telegram: 'The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Daraa Governorate seized jars designated for storing food items, which contained a large quantity of Captagon pills, following the implementation of a tight ambush, and the quantity was confiscated in preparation for its destruction according to regulations and laws.'

It added in another post: 'The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Aleppo Governorate dismantled a drug trafficking network, arrested its members, and seized approximately 200,000 Captagon pills in their possession, where the quantity was confiscated and the involved individuals were referred to the relevant authorities in preparation for presenting them to the competent judiciary.'
