Ministry of Education: Allocation of an "Activity Hall" in Every School of Basic Education in Syria

The Syrian Ministry of Education issued a decision today, Friday, to allocate a multi-purpose activity room called "Activity Hall" in every school of basic education, with the aim of enhancing scientific, linguistic, athletic, social, and ethical skills, as well as developing life skills and a culture of law among students.
According to the decision, a weekly activity program will be prepared for the specified stage, with an average of one lesson per week.
The ministry also tasked the directorates of activities, educational supervision, and education, along with the Curriculum Development Center, to develop a work plan and prepare enrichment curricula and the study plan within the activity halls, and to assess the impact of the "Activity Hall" on the development of students' personalities, behaviors, and skills.
The ministry clarified that this decision comes based on the necessities of developing the educational process and the requirements of the public interest.
