Minister of Communications and Minister of Culture of Syria, Abdul Salam Haykal and Mohammed Yassin Saleh, discussed today, Monday, cooperation in the field of digital technology and its utilization in serving society. The meeting focused on joint initiatives including "Syria's Letters," postage stamps, and paintings, emphasizing the importance of activating a culture of collaborative work between both sides to convey awareness messages to society and craft educational messages with ethical aspects in a technical style. The Minister of Culture presented the ministry's vision on the mechanism of cooperation by activating special identifiers for the ministry team and developing ministry identifiers for websites, calling for launching a competition or exhibition in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications. On his part, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology emphasized the importance of cooperation and the ministry's role in monitoring all content published online to counter threats affecting public awareness, stressing the need to activate a culture that resonates with all segments of Syrian society. Minister Haykal called for working within the field of digital art, which many Syrian artists have engaged in, in addition to collaborating between cultural fields and digital media in the public sphere, pointing out the ministry's work mechanism and expanding internet service at a lower cost and higher quality.
