The Minister of Social Affairs discusses with the Swiss mission in Damascus enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of social protection and humanitarian support.

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Kabawat met on Thursday with the head of the Swiss mission in Damascus, Marion Waehlt Kroepfli, to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of social protection and humanitarian support. Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding social protection programs, strengthening the Syrian-Swiss partnership, especially in projects targeting the most vulnerable groups, particularly in the field of food security. The meeting also discussed the importance of implementing projects that contribute to consolidating civil peace, enhancing social cohesion, as well as exploring mechanisms to support the return of residents from camps to their original areas in a way that ensures their dignity and rights through sustainable programs.
