The Syrian Minister of Justice, Mazhar al-Wais, discussed today, Wednesday, with the British Special Envoy for Syria, Ann Snow, a number of issues related to the current situation in Syria.
The Syrian Ministry of Justice, through its Telegram channel, mentioned that Minister al-Wais expressed his gratitude to the United Kingdom for its efforts to lift the sanctions imposed on Syria.
The ministry added: "Al-Wais emphasized the importance of translating these efforts into practical steps that are felt on the ground and directly benefit the citizens".
The Minister also emphasized the need to continue providing public services and enhancing the transitional justice process despite the challenges facing the ministry, including rehabilitating infrastructure, digital transformation, and developing judicial cadres, according to the ministry.
