Minister of Culture: The Damascus International Fair is a Mirror of Syria's Civilization and a Message of Openness Towards the Future

The minister pointed out that Syria, despite what it has gone through in terms of war and siege, is returning today to open its arms to the world, carrying a painful memory but standing proudly like ancient cities to declare its ability to live, create, and give.
Saleh considered that holding the fair in the Syrian capital is a cultural, political, and social declaration that the country is regaining its vitality and reshaping its image on the world map, emphasizing that the fairgrounds are not only a meeting place for companies and investors but also a space where human stories about the martyrs and the people of Syria who built stone and memory together are told.
He added that the Damascus International Fair represents a mirror of Syria's true face, extending from Ugarit to Palmyra, and from Aleppo to Daraa, Deir ez-Zor, and Latakia, reflecting the civilization of this noble land and sending a clear message to both the inside and outside that Syria does not retreat into its wounds but rather builds bridges towards the future.
The minister concluded his post by saying, "Damascus today tells the world: Come, for here the stories begin and never end."
