Minister of Communications and Minister of Local Administration discuss prospects of cooperation in developing digital infrastructure and improving communication services in Syria.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdulsalam Haykal, discussed today, Sunday, with Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Engineer Mohammed Anjarani, the prospects of cooperation and ways to enhance it in developing the digital infrastructure and improving communication services in Syria. Minister Haykal emphasized during the meeting the ministry's keenness to implement a comprehensive plan, enhance modern digital management, and the necessary technological infrastructure to improve the efficiency of services provided to citizens, and retain expertise through establishing companies and partnerships. Minister Anjarani highlighted the importance of unifying efforts to develop work, by assessing needs and setting priorities, to expedite securing and providing the best services to citizens, through activating partnership with the Ministry of Communications, and the importance of transforming work processes from paper-based to digital, to enhance the digital transformation process. The two sides also agreed to form a working team to monitor the implementation of the discussed plans, in preparation for their execution.
