The Syrian Minister of Finance, Mohammed Yasar Burnia, discussed today, Wednesday, with the President of the Central Inspection and Audit Authority, Engineer Amer Al-Ali, ways to enhance mutual cooperation between the ministry and the authority, contributing to the development of financial institutions, improving their performance, and enhancing the services they provide.

Minister Burnia emphasized during the meeting the importance of full cooperation with the authority in the interest of work, highlighting the supervisory role of the authority in identifying and correcting errors. He also called for the authority to act as a consultant by providing advice to public entities to prevent errors or problems that may arise during work.

The Minister of Finance pointed out that the ministry operates according to an economic vision aimed at justice, fairness, efficient public financial management, enhancing collaboration with the private sector, promoting investment, combating poverty, as well as promoting transparency and partnership with supervisory and executive state institutions, actively contributing to the development process.

On his part, Engineer Al-Ali stated that the main goal of the authority in its supervisory work is not to harm, defame, or criticize any entity, but rather to identify errors, rectify them, strengthen weaknesses, and support institutions in their work.

Engineer Al-Ali emphasized the need to focus on enhancing integrity and transparency between the authority and public entities, eliminating malice in work, and highlighted the authority's efforts to reform the supervisory system in the new Syria through a well-thought-out action plan. Providing consultation services to public entities is among the objectives the authority seeks to achieve by building effective and specialized cadres capable of conducting a detailed study of the work reality and taking proactive measures to enhance preventive supervision to avoid possible errors.
