Marwan Al-Halabi: The Information Technology Center is a Turning Point in the Digitization of Higher Education in Syria

The Syrian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, confirmed that the development of the Information Technology Center affiliated with the ministry has constituted a pivotal starting point in the path of digital transformation, and has directly contributed to building integrated digital systems that include university admissions, academic systems, smart applications, quality and accreditation systems, leading to smart management and educational maps.

Al-Halabi added, in a statement reported by the SANA agency today, that this step comes as part of the ministry's strategy to update the digital infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of educational services, in line with global developments in the field of higher education.

This initiative is part of a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing transparency, improving the quality of education, and facilitating students' access to university services through advanced electronic platforms.
