Los Angeles protesters gather against the Marine Corps.

It seems that any step taken by Trump to contain the chaos and anger in the rebellious states against the recent immigration decisions is met with escalation and rejection. Recently, Trump sent Marines to Los Angeles along with members of the California National Guard despite objections from the state's governor and the mayor of Los Angeles, as anger over immigration raids drove thousands of protesters to the streets.
Around 50 US Marines were met with an angry response from hundreds of protesters outside a federal building in downtown Los Angeles, where the crowd collectively shouted for the forces to withdraw.
