In a shocking incident that shook public opinion in Serbia, Investment Minister Darko Glisic suffered a sudden stroke while appearing live on the program "This Morning" broadcast on Serbian Pink TV.
During the broadcast, the minister began to show abnormal signs, as viewers and the program hosts noticed a clear difficulty in his speech, along with a sudden drooping on the right side of his face, revealing potential symptoms of a stroke.
The accompanying technical and medical staff called for immediate intervention, and he was quickly transferred to a hospital in Belgrade.
In a later statement, Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar confirmed that Glisic had suffered a severe stroke and that his condition was extremely critical upon arrival at the hospital.
He explained that the medical team had to perform an urgent complex surgery, addressing a blood clot and bleeding in the brain, noting that the next twenty-four hours would be crucial in determining his response to treatment and recovery trajectory.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic visited Minister Glisic in the hospital and announced that his condition had begun to improve, stating that he spoke with him personally, indicating that the minister was conscious and expressed optimism about his health condition.
