The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity in Libya, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, affirmed his country's continuous support for the Syrian people, enhancing peace and stability efforts in Syria.
According to the Libyan News Agency, Dbeibah met with the head of the Syrian Transitional Government, Ahmed Al-Shar'a, during the Antalya Diplomatic Forum 2025 in Turkey on Friday, April 11.
Dbeibah emphasized Libya's steadfast support for Syria during his meeting with Al-Shar'a, indicating that an agreement was reached to activate the Libyan-Syrian Joint High Committee to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields and to organize the situation of Syrian residents in Libya.
