Lebanese Minister of Justice: Working to expedite trials for Syrian detainees in prisons

The Lebanese Minister of Justice, Adel Nsar, said today, Sunday, that we are working to expedite trials for Syrian detainees in prisons.

In an interview with "Al Arabiya", the minister confirmed that there is a study on the possibility of completing the sentences of some Syrian detainees in Lebanese prisons in Syrian prisons.

Minister Nsar said: "Around 1900 Syrians are detained in Lebanese prisons".

He added: "Syrian-Lebanese relations are excellent and we have not received any threats from Damascus".
