Launching the "Food Basket" project with the support of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid.

A project has been launched to support the most vulnerable families during the holy month of Ramadan in Syria, under the title "Food Basket," supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre in partnership with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, specifically targeting families of cancer patients, kidney failure patients, people with disabilities, and widowed women.
The project aims to reach 59,000 families in 11 governorates: Damascus and its countryside, Daraa, Quneitra, Suwayda, Homs, Hama, Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa, and Latakia.
Beneficiary families are identified in collaboration with local community leaders to ensure accuracy and reach the most vulnerable. Distribution will be done in partnership with or through the local community gradually throughout the holy month of Ramadan to reach all eligible families.
The project will be launched in the presence of representatives from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, the Saudi Embassy, and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
