Russian President Vladimir Putin will begin an official visit to China next week that lasts four days, which includes extensive talks between Russian and Chinese delegations, according to journalist Pavel Zarubin on "Russia-1" channel on Sunday.

Putin's visit, in addition to the bilateral dialogue, includes participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit scheduled to be held in Tianjin.

The Russian president had previously announced his intention to make an official visit to China in September to participate in the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan in World War II.
