Kuwait condemns the Israeli airstrike on the vicinity of the presidential palace in Damascus.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry stated today, Friday, that "the airstrike on the vicinity of the presidential palace in Damascus is a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic." The ministry added in its statement: "Justifying such attacks under security pretexts does not legitimize any violation of states' sovereignty." It called on the international community to fulfill its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to stop Israeli occupation crimes in the region. Kuwait reaffirmed its unwavering support for the unity of Syria and the integrity of its territories. Israel bombed today, Friday, the vicinity of the presidential palace in the Syrian capital, Damascus, under the pretext of warning the Syrian government to protect the Druze community as they described it.
