Governor of Kursk Region: Ukrainian Attack Claims the Lives of a Father and Son

The governor of the Russian Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, announced today, Saturday, that two people were killed in a Ukrainian drone airstrike on the region.

Khinshtein clarified that the two individuals were a 52-year-old man and his 13-year-old son.

In a statement via Telegram, Khinshtein added that the two died when their car caught fire as a result of the attack.

He noted that the attack occurred in the Rylsk area, which is a border region near a part of Kursk that was controlled by Ukraine between August 2024 and March of this year.
