King Abdullah Renews Jordan's Support for Syria's Security and Stability

In a political stance reaffirming the strong relationship between the two neighboring countries, King Abdullah II of Jordan renewed his country's full support for Syria's security and stability, emphasizing the importance of preserving its territorial integrity and respecting its sovereignty.

This came during a meeting held yesterday in the Canadian capital Ottawa with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, as reported by the Jordanian news agency "Petra".

King Abdullah emphasized during the meeting that respecting the sovereignty of states is a fundamental pillar for opening political horizons that lead to peace and stability in the entire region, while also pointing out the vital role Canada plays as an important partner for Jordan in enhancing regional peace and stability.

On his part, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney praised Jordan's continuous and diligent efforts in supporting the security and stability of the Middle East, appreciating Oman's regional role and its keenness to find peaceful solutions to surrounding crises.
