Khamenei urges Iranians to support Bezhakian and emphasizes rejection of 'submission to America's orders'

Iranian leader Ali Khamenei called on the Iranian people on Sunday to support officials who serve the country, particularly President Masoud Bezhakian, describing him as a 'diligent person'.
Khamenei emphasized in a speech during a religious occasion that Iranians will strongly confront what he termed the 'humiliating demand from the United States to submit to its orders', pointing out that American hostility towards Iran has persisted for 45 years despite changes in administrations and presidents in Washington.
The Iranian leader stated that the real reason behind this hostility is 'Iran's refusal to submit to the dictates of major powers', considering that America is openly revealing its goal of making Iran 'submissive and obedient'.
He added that after failing to subdue Tehran through wars or sanctions, the enemies are currently seeking to achieve this 'by sowing discord and division within the country', asserting that the unity of the people, officials, and armed forces is a 'steel shield' protecting the Islamic Republic.
Khamenei stressed the necessity of 'strengthening national unity', calling on all citizens, officials, and those of the pen and word to adhere to it, and affirming that supporting the president is at the core of this direction.
