Khamenei Seeks Support from Putin and the Latter Says, "We Will Try"

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi visits the Russian capital Moscow today, Monday, to seek more assistance from President Vladimir Putin, carrying a message from the Supreme Leader Khamenei.


During his meeting with Araghchi, Putin said, "There is no justification for aggression against Iran, and we are trying to help the Iranian people."


For his part, Araghchi said, "American and Israeli actions are illegitimate, and we thank our Russian friends for condemning these acts."

A senior source told Reuters that the Iranian Foreign Minister will deliver a message from Khamenei to Putin, seeking his support.
