Jordanian Prime Minister: Relations between the Jordanian and Syrian governments are excellent, with cooperation and consultations in all areas

The Jordanian Prime Minister, Jaafar Hassan, described the common relations between the Jordanian and Syrian governments as excellent, pointing to positive cooperation and consultations in all sectors and fields.
Al-Mamlaka channel quoted Hassan as saying during a session of the Jordanian Cabinet in Jerash today: "Jordan stands by its Syrian brothers in achieving their goals through all diplomatic means, and assists them in other aspects such as civil defense, technical expertise, humanitarian aid, and cooperation in administration and more."
Hassan emphasized that Jordan is keen for Syria to rise, be strong, stable, prosperous, and unified, and to maintain its territorial sovereignty. He highlighted the significant diplomatic role played by Jordan recently in light of the events in southern Syria, noting that matters on the borders in Al-Suwayda are moving towards stability.
Hassan reiterated the importance of the future of Jordan and the Arab neighborhood being one, adding: "The regional implications are not easy, as there are clear fundamental shifts around us visible to all."
Yesterday, Jordan's King Abdullah II reaffirmed his country's support for Syria's security, stability, territorial integrity, ensuring its sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.
