The Jordanian Prime Minister, Jaafar Hassan, confirmed today, Tuesday, his country's support for the Syrian government to ensure the achievement of security, stability, and prosperity in Syria.
During his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Mostafa Madbouly, in Amman today, Hassan said: "Jordan is cooperating with our Syrian brothers in various fields to overcome the significant challenges they face," according to the Jordanian News Agency.
Hassan explained that the regional challenges for Syria and Jordan are the same, with the Palestinian issue and the brutal war waged by Israel on the Gaza Strip being a priority.
Both the Jordanian and Egyptian sides emphasized the necessity of intensifying efforts to end the brutal war waged by Israel on the Gaza Strip, ensuring the delivery of humanitarian supplies, rejecting the policy of starvation in Gaza, and the provocative measures in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
