Jordan foils smuggling of large quantities of drugs across the Syrian border.

The Jordanian Armed Forces announced yesterday, Wednesday, the thwarting of an attempt to smuggle large quantities of drugs coming from Syrian territories into the kingdom, in one of the largest smuggling operations recently intercepted. The source emphasized that the Jordanian Armed Forces will continue to work vigorously and vigilantly, in coordination with various security agencies, to counter any infiltration or smuggling attempts targeting the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The military source confirmed that the Jordanian army will deal firmly with anyone attempting to jeopardize national security or use the borders for drug trafficking or any other illegal activities, amidst escalating smuggling attempts across the Syrian borders.
