Jordan and the UAE reaffirm support for Syria's unity and stability during a ministerial meeting in Cairo

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stressed that his country clearly stands by Syria in facing partition projects and supports reconstruction efforts that safeguard the state's security and the safety of its citizens. Safadi pointed out that addressing the situations in southern Syria should be done in direct coordination with the Syrian government, ensuring the unity of decision-making and the rule of law.
Safadi also warned of the repercussions of repeated Israeli assaults, affirming that Jordan rejects any attempts to undermine Syria's unity or infringe on the rights of its people, considering Syrian stability an integral part of regional security.
For his part, UAE Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar confirmed that his country is committed to supporting the aspirations of the Syrian people for security and development, emphasizing the importance of establishing peace and stability within the framework of the Syrian state's sovereignty and the unity of its institutions.
This Jordanian-UAE consensus comes in the context of a rising Arab stance that rejects foreign interventions and calls for a political solution that preserves Syria's unity and restores its regional role.
