This announcement came in an official statement by the Charge d'Affaires and Special Coordinator for Syria, Akihiro Tsuji, who affirmed that his country will continue its strong commitment to supporting Syria's stability. He noted that this contribution is part of Japan's ongoing support for projects that contribute to improving the humanitarian, service, and economic situation in various Syrian regions. Tsuji emphasized that Tokyo looks forward to a brighter future for the Syrian people, stressing the importance of coordination with the international community to meet the needs of Syrians and enhance the conditions for a decent life, especially in light of the significant challenges facing the country.
